Opening on the Harney County Wolf Committee - Deadline to apply - Oct 16, 2020
Harney County has an opening for a livestock producer to be appointed to the Harney County Wolf Advisory Committee. The Wolf Advisory Committee meets to discuss ways to assist livestock producers with non-lethal deterrent methods related to wolf depredation, and to make recommendations to the Harney County Court regarding any monetary, compensation, or other wolf-related issues for the county. Members are volunteers appointed by the Harney County Court and term lengths are four years. The committee meets as needed. Meetings are open to the public.
