Proposed U.S. EPA Brownfield Cleanup Project
Former Lincoln School, Burns OR

Meeting Location: Community Meeting Room, Harney County Chamber of Commerce, 484 N Broadway Ave, Burns, OR 97720

Harney County is applying for a FY2023 EPA Brownfield Cleanup Grant to assist in the environmental remediation of the former Lincoln School, located at 550 North Court Avenue, Burns, Oregon. The goal of this meeting is to inform the community regarding of the following factors or initiatives:

• The intent to apply for EPA cleanup funding to address environmental issues associated with the property
• To provide the community with and opportunity to Review drafts of the EPA grant application and Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) and accept comments from the public regarding the scope of the cleanup program.

Further, the public is welcome to review and to comment on the drafts of the cleanup grant application and the ABCA.

The draft documents can be viewed at Harney County Court at 450 N. Buena Vista #5, Burns OR 97720. Alternatively, you may request electronic copies of the documents from Keith Ziobron of Cardno now Stantec at keith.ziobron@cardno.com
